Have I seen you here before?
Can I go where you are going?
He walks
One foot in front of the other
Doesn’t think twice
How does he know the concrete won’t turn to ice
He sleeps
Two hands grasping each other
Mustn’t blink once
He cannot know she won’t let go
And what you left her on the counter
is only gathering flies
but no one wants to touch them
so we just let them fly, fly, fly….
into her ears, into his eyes
He walks
One foot in front of the other
Onto the ice…
I have seen you here before
I can see where you are going
Her chord changes are exactly what I was looking for. THIS is the kind of stuff that makes me love music! Wonderful instrumentation and arrangements, beautiful melodies, and surprisingly really good production! Make an album ASAP. Ben S
Absolutely stunning and one of the wildest things I've heard in a while. Think the eclectic yet totally successful experimentation of Bjork plus the neo-classical, mythical, almost fairy tale vibes of Joanna Newsom, but with an even more beautiful voice, and you're pretty close. Also some interesting spoken-word interludes that are strangely riveting. Serious AOTY contender. scott-t-daley
